Commonplace book : manuscript, 1789-1791.

Contains poems and epitaphs by various authors; excerpts on topics such as glues, claims of American loyalists, and the slave trade; excerpts from George Martine's Essays and observations on the construction and graduation of thermometers; and weather observations for London for 1789-1791. Also an autograph letter, dated 12 Feb. 1800, from Savage to John Jeffries of Boston, chiefly concerning a mutual friend who has moved to Philadelphia; and an autograph note from Savage, presumably to Jeffries, in which Savage mentions having sent his "weather book," are laid in.
